English subject related areas, students in four years of English language learning focus on integration of reading and writing. Besides a progressive sequence of courses which focus on reading, writing, translation, writing, a weekly English newsletter － “This Week”, guided by teachers, is written in English by junior students in group collaboration as a graduation monograph preparation.
Students in group should write a monograph of about 20 pages, and deliver their monograph through the oral and workshop-style presentation, in which students respond to questions. Our monographs won awards two times in the National Student Project Contest. It is a positive outcome of the integration of students' reading and writing skills.
